Given the sea of information you receive, you can often feel that applying for mobility is a lengthy and tedious process.
The Office for International Relations and Research Projects of the University of Dubrovnik is here to help you with the application process and to provide you with the best possible advice in each individual case.

We would like to take this opportunity to draw your attention to the simple but important steps in the initial phase of applying for mobility:

1. Check which universities you can apply to
1a) Here it is important to first check for which field of study we have signed a contract.
1b) Then check in which language the lectures are offered
*This information can be found under the link Detailed information about Host Universities

2. Check the amount of the scholarship and the cost of living in the selected destination countries
2a) The amount of the scholarship depends on the destination where you will be studying. If you belong to one of the categories of students with fewer opportunities, there is also the possibility of receiving additional financial support.
These details can be found in the Call itself.
2b) Each university has a section on their website that relates to International students. In most cases, the university’s fact sheet contains information about the average monthly cost of living at the destination.
*Compare the scholarship with the cost of living!

3. Check the course catalog
3a) On the aforementioned university website related to International students, you will also find a catalog of available courses for international students.
3b) Check with the Head of your department at UNIDU about the courses available in the catalogue and how they will be recognized when you return to UNIDU.
*You must enroll at least 25 ECTS and pass at least 10 ECTS!

If you have completed the above steps, the most important part of your application preparation is already done.

That was not so bad, was it!
